Three Ways Over

Ride pillion with us or take the bars yourself, guided. Either way: Hue-born riders, your bag strapped and dry, lunch where the squid is fried fresh, and no schedule worth stressing over.

01

The Crossing

Hoi An ↔ Hue · One-way · 8 hrs

The classic. Marble Mountains, the full 21 km of the pass, Lang Co Bay for lunch, a waterfall swim at Elephant Springs, backroads through Cau Hai’s fishing villages. Your luggage rides with you.

02

The Loop

Hoi An or Da Nang · Out & back · 6 hrs

Hotel pickup in Hoi An or Da Nang, over the summit and its war-scarred gate, swim, seafood, and back for dinner. The whole legend in a day, no repacking required.

03

The Long Way

Hue → A Luoi → Hoi An · 2 days

The Ho Chi Minh Trail for a whole afternoon, Van Kieu weaving villages, a night in Prao, then your pick of ending: My Son’s Cham towers or the pass itself. Real dirt included.

02

A Day on the Road

The Crossing, stop by stop. Depart 8:30, arrive when the day says so — we’re flexible, just ask.

Marble Mountains Entrance included

Caves, pagodas and hand-carved stone before the day warms up.

Long Beach, Da Nang

One of Vietnam’s most beautiful coastlines — with a military past you can still read in the sand.

Hai Van Summit 496 m

Sea of clouds, the 1826 gate, French bunkers with bullet scars. The photo you came for.

Lang Co Bay Lunch included

Seafood over the water. We know which shack fries it fresh.

Elephant Springs

Swim under a waterfall. Towels are our problem, not yours.

Cau Hai Lagoon

A slow lap of the fishing village — basket boats, nets, and waves back at every wave.

Countryside to the finish

Rice paddies and backroads to your hotel — Hue, Hoi An or back to Da Nang. Your call.

This isn't some cookie-cutter tour. It's the best way to see Vietnam raw, original, and completely down to earth… Ky is an absolute legend, the riding is elite, and the experience is unforgettable.

You can really feel that this is a family-run business that genuinely cares rather than just rushing tourists through a route… If you're thinking about doing the Hai Van Pass, book with these guys — you won't regret it.

WillemNetherlands · May 2026

If you want to see the real Vietnam and not just the highway, book this!

My husband (68) and me (61) were a little apprehensive but within a few moments our fears were gone… we would do it again in a heartbeat.

PaulineFunchal, Portugal · Mar 2026

We'd definitely recommend Ky and this tour to anyone looking for a super safe, fun and scenic way to get from Hoi An to Hue.

ToriMelbourne, Australia · Dec 2025

The surprise birthday celebration they organized at lunch honestly made our entire day… easily one of the highlights of our trip.

Jennytraveling as a couple · May 2026

Ky is knowledgeable and showed us places we would never have gone if not for this tour. The scenery, people and the whole vibe were brilliant.

Button84United Kingdom · May 2026

I've always felt safe on the bike. Our luggage was brought to our next hotel, which makes it easy… highly recommended for anyone going from Huế to Hoi An or vice versa.

He checked on me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and felt safe throughout the ride, which I really appreciated as a solo traveler.

Shan Shansolo rider · Aug 2026

Kind of like a 'loop dupe' for anyone that enjoyed the Ha Giang Loop or wants a taster of what it's like. The views are worth it 100%.

We had too much fun and immediately booked another two-day run down the Hồ Chí Minh Trail… Zero regrets. Full send.

Cross the pass. Leave with a suit.

Our tours end where Vietnam’s best tailors work. Partner house Nathan Tailors — 127 Trần Hưng Đạo, Hoi An Ancient Town — cuts bespoke suits and áo dài from $149, handcrafted in 3–4 days.

The move: a 15-minute measuring before you ride. Your suit is being cut while you’re on the road, and it’s waiting when you roll into Hoi An. Every suit has a story — yours crossed a mountain.

Tick the fitting box in the booking form and we arrange the slot. No pressure, no showroom detours you didn’t ask for.

Straight Answers

Do I need a license to ride the Hai Van Pass?

Not if you ride pillion with us — most guests do. To self-drive legally you need a motorcycle-valid home license plus a 1968-convention International Driving Permit; without it your travel insurance likely won’t cover you. Full honesty in our self-drive guide.

What happens to my luggage on a one-way tour?

Strapped to the rack, wrapped against rain and spray, and it arrives when you do. Big backpacks included — riders mention it in reviews constantly.

What if it rains?

We carry rain wraps for you and your bags and we slow down — some of the best summit photos are cloud days. Typhoon warning? We reschedule, free.

Is the Hai Van Pass safe?

Trucks and buses were banned to the tunnel in 2005, the surface is good, and “felt very safe” is one of the most-used phrases in our 446 reviews. The honest breakdown: Is the pass safe?

How do I book, and when do you reply?

The form below goes straight to Ky — the man himself, not a call center. He replies within hours, Vietnam time, on WhatsApp or email. No deposit needed to ask.

Can I really get a suit made along the way?

Yes — tick the box in the form. A 15-minute measuring with Nathan Tailors before you ride, and your bespoke suit or áo dài is ready when the tour ends in Hoi An (from $149, 3–4 days).
